- Research shows that most people complain once a minute during a conversation. As soon as I found that piece of info, I was hyper-aware of what I'm saying during a conversation.
- My conversations are more meaningful now, and I'm grateful that I had that beautiful wake-up call.
Solution:
If you're looking for a real coping strategy and looking to get off of the "complain-train" I have something for you to try.
Try only talking about the problem one time. The rest of the time, make a deal with yourself and others in the meeting to focus on the solution. . Otherwise, you'll just be picking up more passengers to go for a long ride on the complain-train with you.
